About Our School
Snapdragon is an authentic Montessori school for toddlers as young as 12 months old to age 3.
We are part of the Wildflower Network of micro schools that promotes exploration, independence and healthy development for children.

Linda Pear
Founding Teacher Leader
Linda started Snapdragon Montessori School in 2016 with the help of the Wildflower Network and her husband Dan, who is also a teacher at Snapdragon. She holds a Masters of Education from Loyola University Maryland, an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Diploma for children ages 0-3, and became a mom in 2017. Linda loves spending her days in the company of toddlers and supporting parents in the hard work of raising children.
Dan Takacs
Founding Teacher Leader
Dan is a teacher and theatre artist from Oberlin, OH. He holds an MFA in Theatre Education and an Arts Administration Certificate from Boston University. He enjoys writing, directing theatre, and learning about anything! Dan has taught all ages, from toddlers to adults, and is passionate about creating safe spaces for the people in his community.
